At Country Meadows of Mechanicsburg, our co-workers are the heart and soul of our community, each one bringing their own unique touch to make every day a little brighter. Much like a yearbook filled with superlatives, we’ve found meaningful ways to celebrate these exceptional individuals, each a vital part of our story. Through their laughter, kindness and warmth, they create an environment that’s welcoming, joyful and genuinely feels like home. Meet our Mechanicsburg superlative winners, Ben, Genee, Brianna and more, to see how they bring warmth, laughter and special talents to make Country Meadows a place like no other.

Ben has a natural way of making everyone feel like family, which is why residents at our Mechanicsburg campus lovingly call him their best friend. As a Dynamic Living Associate, he thrives on building connections, sparking curiosity and creating moments of joy for residents every single day. He loves seeing residents light up when they learn something new or rediscover an old hobby. Ben believes that every interaction – no matter how small – has the power to make a difference, and that belief shines through in all he does. When he’s not brightening lives at Country Meadows, you’ll find him immersed in a good book, painting, or giving new life to old furniture through his passion for refinishing.

If happiness had a heartbeat, it would sound a lot like Brianna’s laughter echoing through the halls of our Mechanicsburg campus. As an LPN, she’s known for her kindness, bubbly personality and ability to turn even the simplest moments into something special. Brianna finds purpose in caring for residents, especially those living with dementia, forming bonds that go beyond nursing to genuine friendship. Her positivity uplifts everyone around her, making her truly deserving of the title “Most Likely to Brighten Your Day.” When she’s not bringing smiles to others, she enjoys quiet moments spent reading, crafting or piecing together her latest LEGO masterpiece.

Genee has a rare gift for making everyone she meets feel seen, heard and valued-which is why she was named “Most Likely to Make Everyone Feel Special.” As the Dynamic Living Director at our Mechanicsburg campus, she finds joy in building genuine connections with residents, co-workers and families. For Genee, fulfillment comes from turning “we can’t” moments into “we can,” whether that means solving a problem, finding common ground or just bringing comfort to someone in need. One moment she’ll never forget came during COVID-19, when a resident thanked her for “saying I love you” with a hug – an experience that forever deepened her belief in the power of human connection. When she’s not brightening lives at Country Meadows, Genee enjoys kayaking, exploring the woods and spending time with her 150-pound fluffy best friend, Milo.

Cooking isn’t just Ian’s profession – it’s his way of connecting with people. As Director of Dining at our Mechanicsburg campus, he pours creativity and care into every meal, serving up dishes that make residents smile before the first bite. Known for his infectious laugh and quick wit, Ian was voted “Most Likely to Make People Laugh Out Loud,” and it’s easy to see why. Whether he’s leading a cookout, hosting brunch, or cracking a joke in the kitchen, he knows how to make mealtime feel like a celebration. When he’s not at work, Ian can be found in his garden, growing fresh ingredients for his next culinary masterpiece.

You’ll often find Jim leading with a smile and a joke, which makes it no surprise he earned the title “Most Likely to Tell the Funniest Jokes.” As the Campus Executive Director at our Mechanicsburg campus, he’s known for his ability to lift spirits, inspire growth and guide his team with empathy. Jim loves helping co-workers reach their goals and watching families find comfort and confidence in their loved ones’ care. When he’s not sharing laughs on campus, he’s immersed in his lifelong passion for music – listening, writing and supporting his kids’ musical adventures as their biggest fan (and occasional roadie). For Jim, the best moments are those breakthroughs with co-workers or families that remind him why leadership rooted in laughter and connection truly matters.

Some of Tina’s favorite memories aren’t grand events – they’re the everyday moments filled with laughter, stories and connection. Whether it’s spending an afternoon on the porch swapping memories with residents, sharing contagious laughter that no one can stop or introducing a new game like chair basketball, Tina finds joy in simply being together. Her ability to create those spontaneous, joy-filled moments is exactly why she was voted “Most Likely to Be the Life of the Party.” When she’s not bringing energy to the campus, she enjoys drag racing with her husband and spending time outdoors – a passion sparked by her dad. As a Dynamic Living Associate at our Mechanicsburg campus, Tina channels that same enthusiasm into making every resident feel valued, seen and part of one big family.

When a beloved 107-year-old resident passed away, Lori was touched when the resident’s daughter invited the staff to say goodbye – proof of the close-knit relationships that make Country Meadows feel like home. That connection later deepened when the daughter became a volunteer, a story that still inspires Lori today. It’s no wonder she was voted “Most Likely to Know Everyone’s Name” – she’s known for remembering every face and every story, making each person she meets feel like they matter. Lori brings that same personal touch to her work as Talent Development Coordinator at our Mechanicsburg campus, ensuring new co-workers feel truly welcomed and prepared to grow. When she’s not supporting others, you’ll likely find her happily hunting for bargains at yard sales or thrift stores, her love for discovery shining just as brightly as her love for people.
