Celebrating Frederick Superlatives: The People Who Make Us Unique

At Country Meadows of Frederick, our co-workers are the heart and soul of our community, each one bringing their own unique touch to make every day a little brighter. Much like a yearbook filled with superlatives, we’ve found meaningful ways to celebrate these exceptional individuals, each a vital part of our story. Through their laughter, kindness and warmth, they create an environment that’s welcoming, joyful and genuinely feels like home. Meet our Frederick superlative winners, Brenda, Courtney, Debbie and more, to see how they bring warmth, laughter and special talents to make Country Meadows a place like no other.

Brenda

Brenda

Brenda was voted “Most Likely to Make You Feel at Home,” and it’s no mystery why-her warm greetings and genuine joy for serving others set the tone the moment you walk through the doors at our Frederick campus. As the friendly face at the front desk, she takes pride in making residents, families, and co-workers feel welcome, seen, and supported. One of her favorite moments? Receiving handmade Valentine’s cards from residents, a sweet surprise that reminded her just how meaningful those everyday connections really are. Outside of work, Brenda enjoys reading cookbooks, thrifting, and cheering on her grandson at baseball games-all topped off with peaceful walks shared with her husband.

Courtney

Courtney

Courtney has a passion for old-fashioned letter writing and sending art-filled notes through the mail-a hobby sparked by her grandmother when she was just five. That same heart for connection shines through in her role as the Connections Memory Support Club Coordinator at our Frederick campus. It’s no surprise she was voted “Most Likely to Be a Resident’s Best Friend”-Courtney forms deep bonds with residents, helping them come out of their shells and rediscover joy. One moment she’ll never forget is encouraging a grieving resident to join her in picking tomatoes-just a small adventure, but one that meant the world in his final days. She brings advocacy, empathy, and real friendship to everyone she meets.

Debbie

Debbie

Solving jigsaw puzzles, painting and traveling with her club are just a few of the things that keep Debbie inspired outside of work. At our Frederick campus, she brings that same creativity and joy to her role as a dining associate, where she’s known for treating residents to both delicious snacks and hilarious jokes.
It’s no wonder she was voted “Most Likely to Tell the Funniest Joke”-Debbie’s quick wit and warm personality light up every room. With nearly 18 years at Country Meadows, she’s shared countless laughs and stories, and her favorite moments are still the ones that end in a smile (or a good belly laugh) from a resident.

Dora

Dora

Because she’s always ready with a warm embrace, it’s no surprise she was voted “Most Likely to Give the Best Hugs.” Dora brings kindness and comfort to everyone she meets at our Frederick campus, making each day a little brighter for residents and co-workers alike. As a Personal Care Associate, she finds true fulfillment in helping others live with dignity and self-respect. Whether it’s through a heartfelt thank-you from a resident or a quiet moment of connection, Dora’s care runs deep. Outside of work, she recharges by spending time with friends and taking long walks with her beloved dog.

Jamie

Jamie

At our Frederick campus, Jamie brings the fun wherever she goes-so it’s no surprise she was voted “Most Likely to Be the Life of the Party.” As Campus Executive Director, she leads with heart, humor, and a serious knack for planning unforgettable co-worker events and theme days. Whether she’s rallying the team during DINO (Dedicated Individuals Nurturing Others) Week or making someone’s day with a small act of kindness, Jamie knows how to uplift and energize those around her. Her favorite moments on campus are the ones filled with laughter and connection, especially when the team comes together to celebrate one another. Outside of work, she finds joy in spending time with her family-especially her kids-and never misses a chance to turn everyday moments into meaningful memories with friends and loved ones.

Kristina

Kristina

As an LPN at our Frederick campus, Kristina brings both compassion and sparkle to her work-literally. Known for her love of makeup and all things glitter, it’s only fitting she was voted “Most Likely to Make Everyone Feel Special.” Kristina is always looking for ways to brighten someone’s day, whether through kind words, a helping hand or just her infectious energy. After more than a decade in her role, she still considers it a privilege to care for this generation and create meaningful moments along the way. Outside of work, you can usually find her pampering her pups or adding a little extra shimmer to everyday life.

Melinda

Melinda

Most Likely to Make You Laugh Out Loud? That checks out-Melinda keeps the good vibes going strong at our Frederick campus with her quick wit and infectious humor. As a med-tech, she’s all about lifting spirits while providing exceptional care, finding joy in every resident she helps. Her journey into crafting began during the pandemic, turning a tough time into a creative outlet, and now she makes custom t-shirts and more on the side. Whether she’s cracking a joke, lending a hand, or making something special, Melinda brings warmth and laughter wherever she goes.

Molly

Molly

Most likely to bring your furry friend to work? Absolutely. After losing her beloved dog Lily, Molly welcomed a rescue pup named Finn into her family-and onto the Frederick campus. She brought him to work to help socialize him, but he quickly became a bright spot for residents, especially one who deeply missed having a dog of her own. As a Senior Employment Specialist, Molly finds joy in connecting caring individuals with meaningful work and knowing the difference they make for residents. When she’s not matchmaking future co-workers, she loves diving into a good book-thanks in part to the campus book mobile that rekindled her reading habit.

Rebecca

Rebecca

Most likely to brighten your day? That one took her by surprise! But Rebecca’s warm spirit and quick wit make her a natural at bringing smiles to both residents and co-workers on the Frederick campus. As part of the Connections Memory Support team, she spends her days building strong, meaningful relationships with residents-many of whom feel like family. One unforgettable memory? When a snowstorm hit, she stayed overnight and turned it into a mini party with games and cookies. Outside of work, she’s a book lover with dreams of writing one of her own someday.

Jessica

Jessica

Most likely to know everyone’s name? That sounds about right! With over 12 years at Country Meadows and experience working every shift and neighborhood, she’s crossed paths with just about everyone-and made a lasting impression along the way. As a Wellness Secretary, she loves being the go-to support for both co-workers and residents, always ready to lend a hand and lighten the load. One unforgettable memory was being knighted by Mr. Leader over FaceTime while recovering from COVID-a moment that reminded her how appreciated she is. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, diving into a good book, or cooking up something delicious-a love sparked by summers spent with her grandmother.
