Feels like home

Our Home is Your Home at Country Meadows: Senior Living Communities in Pennsylvania and Maryland

There’s so much to love about living in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The Leader family had this in mind when they founded and built our senior living communities. And to make our residents feel at home, each community was developed within close proximity to the very lives they lived prior to moving to Country Meadows. All of our senior living communities are a short drive — or walk, in some cases — to neighborhood restaurants, favorite shopping destinations, cultural venues, places of worship and more.

Serving our residents

Senior with DogWhile residents stay connected to their outside circle, the Leader family also created an environment at each community with even more ways to expand current interests, as well as learn new hobbies, make more friends, foster their well-being and be free to focus on what matters most to them.

Each of our senior living communities offers a range of attentive care and professional support to serve our residents now and if their needs should change. We even work to accommodate couples with differing care levels remain residing together where possible. Find what services at our senior living communities are best for you and your family.

We’re here for you however you need us and can help answer questions for any senior care-related situation. We’ve chosen this field because we enjoy and respect seniors. And we love what we do. If you have questions other than senior care, please consider these options for your inquiries: career opportunities, volunteering, employment verification, press-advertising-vendor requests or general resident or co-worker questions/comments.

“Country Meadows was founded by my late parents, former Pennsylvania Governor George M. Leader and Mary Jane Leader. After more than 50 years in senior living, we remain family-managed and 100% family-owned. My father always felt it was important to develop lasting relationships with our customers and provide them with value ‘heaped up and running over.’ I feel the same way. While we help our customers reach their personal goals, our own goal is to help all our residents lead active lives of purpose through independence, social interaction and respectful service. From my family to yours, thank you for considering Country Meadows.”
~ Michael Leader, Executive Chairman, Country Meadows Retirement Communities
