Thank you, Krista Maxwell, for nominating MaryKate Joseph in our May "Everyday Heroes Appreciation" promotion. She honored MaryKate by sharing, "My son just started Kindergarten this year, and I wasn't sure how he was going to like school. I should not have worried. He loves school, and it is all because he has such a wonderful teacher! Mrs. Joseph truly cares about all of the students in her class. She takes pictures and videos to share with the parents so that we can feel like a part of our child's day. She also is in constant contact with the parents about important classroom information. She encourages her students to always try their best and uses fun and engaging ways to help them learn through play. She is also very patient and understanding with both her students and their parents. My son is always eager to please Mrs. Joseph. He also likes that she shares information about herself and her family. He knows that her favorite animal is the flamingo, her favorite tree is the Gingko tree, her favorite food is pizza, and that her favorite color is red just like his. He says that he loves his teacher because she makes learning fun. Before Mrs. Joseph, my son would only read when he was told. Now he asks to read. Mrs. Joseph also always has a smile for her students when they see her, inside or outside of class. My son loves to see his teacher at after school activities. Also, she never stopped any of these things during online learning. She continued to find interesting ways to help her students learn and to stay in touch with one another. I know finding resources to teach students online was difficult but she made it seem easy. I also know how much she cares about all of her students and really misses them. For all of these reasons, I think Mrs. Joseph deserves to be recognized as the wonderful teacher and everyday hero that she is!"

Thank you, MaryKate Joseph, for all you do every day as an #everydayhero.

Congratulations to Marian Noel at our York-West campus who was nominated in our May Everyday Heroes Appreciation promotion by resident family member, Cindy Strickler who shared, Marian and her daughter Sarah along with many others always go above and beyond helping my mother-in-law Betty Strickler. Marian and Sarah helped Betty set up her iPad for face timing her family. Recently Betty fell, everyone has helped her feel like she is not alone under these trying times. When Betty misplaced her purse, everyone from the driver to the front desk stepped up to help find it. So a huge thank you for the amazing staff at Country Meadows!

Thank you, Marian Noel (and York-West Team), for all you do every day as an #everydayhero.

Our Bethlehem campus' Dynamic Living Team provides a courtesy cart of essential items residents may need right at their doorstep. Some residents even "pay" using tickets they earned from our cognitive brain health games and exercise incentives. #store #everyday

The York campus residents and Dynamic Living team planted 25 butterfly/hummingbird-friendly perennials. Resident #gardeners are eager to care for them and even more eager for the #butterflies and #hummingbirds to visit. The campus is adding a walking path and benches. 🦋 💛

Our new Spring/Summer menu launches tomorrow at most of our campuses. Our residents have been taste testing a few of the new items and providing their feedback. Our Bethlehem campus residents gave the new vegetable pasta salad 5 out of 5 stars! #food #delicious 🍽️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
