Our Frederick campus celebrated National Aviation Day with stories of the Wright Brothers, personal flying memories, and even a surprise — one resident once took pilot lessons and loved being in the cockpit! Themed cookies topped off a morning of discovery, nostalgia, and inspiration. 💛

Peach perfection from start to finish 🍑✨

At our York-South (Leader Heights) campus, Dining Director Ben took the spotlight as our “Chef on Stage,” creating a menu that celebrated locally grown peaches in the most delicious ways. Residents enjoyed peach, mozzarella, and arugula salad, BBQ ribs with peach BBQ sauce, corn on the cob, peach cobbler, peach iced tea, and peach bellinis — all while watching the demo live on screen.

Rave reviews, wonderful company, and sweet take-home treats (homemade BBQ sauce + a juicy peach!) made this event unforgettable. 💛

At our York-West campus, Barb thought Chef Jeff needed something special for his monthly cooking debut — so with a little help from DL, she designed and gifted him this awesome apron!

Now Jeff’s not only cooking up delicious dishes but doing it in style. 💛
