Kindness inspires more kindness. Our Hershey campus received a very kind and generous donation. Kathy Schmidt from the All Saints Episcopal Church, Hershey PA sewing club, “Tabitha’s Stitchers,” donated dozens of beautifully handmade walker bags and clothing protectors. In the picture, Kathy is modeling a clothing protector, alongside another Stitcher, Joan Pruett who is displaying a walker bag and fellow member, Laura Varga. Thank you, Tabitha's Stitchers, for thinking of our residents.

Those aren't Halloween masks. Just beauty facial masks as our Hershey Colonnades residents enjoy a variety of spa treatments including hand masks, paraffin dips, face masks and face massages. They all laughed at the beauty regime: to look and feel beautiful, we must first look like “spa zombies.” They enjoyed the day and each other—and that's the real beauty!

Showing kindness goes both ways! Our York-West campus has a longstanding relationship with Our Daily Bread soup kitchen. This month residents and staff made three casseroles and donated two large boxes of supplies collected as part of our Practice Random Acts of Kindness campaign. Then they enjoyed receiving kindness as they were gifted with lots and lots of Girl Scout cookies from Hunters Hill Orthodontics. Proof that smiles are their business!
