“I’m never bored…”

We’re listening all the time to our residents – and they tell us they’re thankful to be part of a supportive community that provides access to a range of enriching activities. Even when the weather is colder outside and limits outdoor activities, our co-workers are dedicated to creating new and thoughtful experiences throughout every season of the year. Designed to be enjoyed either on their own time or as part of socially distanced groups while wearing masks, there’s an opportunity for every resident to fill their days with something fresh and fun.

Staying active and making friends

Our communities are designed to keep our residents active and connected with their neighbors. The following activities are just some of the opportunities residents can take part of right now on campus.

  • Rise and Stretch Yoga
  • Mindfulness and stress relief exercises
  • Connect & Reflect – a group discussion sharing memories and treasured traditions
  • Purposeful Service – a weekly class in our Pathways communities
  • In-room and socially distanced happy hours
  • Mind, Body, Soul – a movement and discussion combination class
  • Nutritious Art – fun creations using fruits and veggies
  • Themed Bingo and Lunch
  • Art classes in our Pathways communities weekly – including knitting, card making and more
  • Lifelong Learning classes
  • Mystery Mondays – a group guessing game activity

In addition to all of the chances to connect with other residents and participate in fun, fulfilling events, our co-workers take every opportunity possible to bond with residents. Every accomplishment and life milestone experienced by our residents are celebrated by the Country Meadows family.

With all there is to do on campus and in the comfort of our residents’ homes, it’s not surprising we hear residents saying, “I’m never bored…” and “I’ve made new friends.”
