On Valentine’s Day, residents and co-workers of Country Meadows of Wyomissing witnessed a beautiful union of two campus canine sweethearts, Gracie and Russel.

Gracie (Cox) and Russel (Zavitsky) met as young pups while accompanying their human parents to work at Country Meadows of Wyomissing—a pet-friendly retirement community. They quickly became inseparable and often are found canoodling, playing and strolling the hallways together.
Groom, Russel, is a 10-month old Bernedoodle who enjoys all things to do with water, walking with his mom, eating ice chips and is always up for a game of ball. He is known for his laid-back, go-with-the-flow attitude. His joy and carefree nature bring smiles to many faces, young and old. He accompanies his human mom to work at Country Meadows of Wyomissing several times each week to spend time with his extra grandparents, who have named him “Employee of the Year!”
Gracie, the bride, is a Goldendoodle who loves to play in her backyard as well as while working as a canine ambassador at Country Meadows of Wyomissing. She accompanies her mother to work several days a week and loves seeing her boyfriend, Russel, and her best girlfriend, Sophia–a Havanese who lives at Country Meadows with her mom, Darlene. Sophia served as the couple’s maid of honor.
