We understand the importance of finding the right fit and (when needed) the right care for yourself or loved one. We work with many families to do just that. Unlike a skilled nursing facility offering only one level of care, we have designed a fuller range of senior services here in Lancaster. This way, we can support residents in their current life stage and can continue to care for them if and when their needs should change.
We have just re-opened independent living units due to the expressed need in Lancaster County. We also now offer enhanced services in Independent Living for those residents who need minimal assistance with medication and treatments through our new Independent Living With Services program.
By offering independent living, personal care and memory care, we can accommodate couples no matter their individual health needs in the same apartment. We value the peace of mind of keeping couples together— it’s their home, after all. We work to meet their different needs while spouses continue to live together.
This lifestyle lets active older adults concentrate on living without the burdens of home ownership. With the ease of apartment living, three meals a day in our restaurant-style dining rooms, weekly housekeeping, transportation to appointments and shopping and 24-hour access to staff, Independent Living is for seniors who want to make the most of retirement life on their own terms.
This level of care, which is often referred to as “assisted living,” provides individualized assistance to residents who need help with daily routines like bathing, dressing or medication reminders, so they can remain involved and active. Our senior services in Lancaster include the privacy and amenities of apartment-style living, three meals per day in our restaurant-style dining rooms, plus a better quality of life through personal assistance. And there is a registered nurse on site (not just on call) 24 hours per day to assist as needed with the immediate needs of our residents.
Our continuum of memory care supports seniors with early- to late-stage memory loss caused by Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia. After we evaluate a resident's cognitive challenges, we provide the appropriate level of support for his or her individual needs. Our innovative Connections Memory Support Services™ program is offered in our Personal Care apartments, therapeutic living area for those with more physical limitations and a secure neighborhood. We understand the emotional value of keeping residents comfortable and their families assured their loved ones will receive the necessary care. This makes our program very unique in the Lancaster area. Contact us about our Lancaster, PA dementia care service.
