Join us for our new and free Think, Move & Improve Parkinson’s Support Fitness Class

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s disease. For those living with PD and similar conditions, there are ways to improve safety while supporting a good quality of life. At Country Meadows, our team supports the whole individual through therapy programs, wellness plans, nutritious meals, socialization and recreational and physical activity—right here on campus. Plus, we have created a new fitness program focused on addressing daily functional and cognitive difficulties.

This free eight-week session features strategies to benefit individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders or symptoms by incorporating cognitive challenges with physical tasks and placing emphasis on large movement, vocal projection and facial expression.

Classes begin October 3 through November 21

Mondays & Wednesdays | 3:30 – 4:30 pm
