Resident rappels down high-rise building to raise funds for vision loss

A Country Meadows resident defied heights for a cause. Tom Keasey, 74, a resident of Country Meadows’ York-South campus, rappelled down the side of a 10-story building in Lancaster to raise funds for people with vision loss as part of VisionCorps’ annual “Eye Drop” fundraising event.

Blind since birth, Keasey knows the organization’s important work first-hand. He is proud to be the event’s top fundraiser, bringing in more than $10k to fund VisionCorps’ important work. Check out this video to watch Tom’s rappel and hear from him.
