Country Meadows campus welcomes robot meal servers to enhance dining experience

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is finding new ways to use technology at our campuses.

Our latest hires at Country Meadows of Leader Heights in south York are dining associates, Ricky and Lucy. All they do is go back and forth between the kitchen and resident tables, not saying a word to anyone. That’s good, because Ricky and Lucy are robots!

Ricky and Lucy help their fellow dining associates by assisting with food delivery. The robots are used to transport orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables and return dirty dishes. No one is losing their job as Country Meadows is using the technology to free up co-workers to spend more time with residents and help them with their duties.
