Our Social Media Policy

Socialization is the key to quality of life. That is why we created the Country Meadows social media pages. We want to foster a community where seniors, their families and co-workers can share stories, experiences, ideas and questions related to senior living, senior care and really, anything related to seniors and those who support them—we’ve been in this business for over 50 years and have had many wonderful conversations with families like yours. We look forward to having similar exchanges with you.

Because we take senior care to heart, we keep all conversations respectful and courteous. (It’s what we learned from the very seniors we care for.) And expect others to do the same.

We welcome your views, comments and other communications, pictures, videos (“User Content”) as long as the User Content submitted by you complies with our Terms of Use, the respective social media page’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and our own rules of common decency:

Comments Containing Vulgarity

We want to provide respectful and welcoming social communities for all. Comments using profanity, hate speech or other offensive language will be deleted.

Comments That Are Off-Topic

We want it to be easy for our followers to find relevant and useful information. Sometimes posts or reviews may be off topic, make unsupported accusations or claims, contain misleading information, promote the buying and selling of goods and services/solicitation of a competitive company, or spam. These comments take away from our pages’ intent and will be removed.

Comments Seeking or Containing Medical Advice

We have designed all our programs and care around living a healthy life and enjoying fulfilling careers and could talk for hours about their importance and value. But please remember that our social media pages are for general information and are not official outlets for medical services or advice, and the information on our pages should not be considered medical advice. If you have specific medical care questions, please consult a health care professional for a diagnosis and treatment.

Comments Containing Personally Identifiable Information

For your protection, we will remove any posts that contain personal identifiable information about you or someone you know including a phone number, address, email, date of birth, death or medical condition.

Comments about Customer Service Issues

Social media is a great forum to share experiences and ask questions. We’ll try to address as many of your customer service and co-worker questions here as we can. However, sometimes, to protect your privacy and personal information, we may have to take our conversation offline. We are eager to resolve any issue you may have and ask users to contact our management team at or, if preferred, you are welcome to contact our Corporate Compliance Line at toll-free 1-888-470-3376. It is answered 24/7 by an independent third party, and calls can be made anonymously. Every call is investigated.

Above all, please know Country Meadows does reserve the right to delete any posting at its sole discretion that affects the integrity of these social media communities and their users. We welcome and appreciate your feedback and value transparency. It’s how we manage our business every day. Now for the official Terms of Use

You agree that:

  • Country Meadows does not represent that the information on the social media pages created or administered by Country Meadows are accurate, complete, reliable, useful, timely or current.
  • Any User Content submitted by you on social media pages created or administered by Country Meadows will be accurate, will not violate any applicable law, regulation, will not violate any right of a third party, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, and will not cause injury to any person or entity.
  • User Content submitted by you to social media pages created or administered by Country Meadows will not contain obscene, profane or threatening language, and will not contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any form of spam.
  • If you are employed or otherwise compensated by Country Meadows, you must disclose your relationship with Country Meadows when posting any User Content.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit, and Country Meadows assumes no liability for any User Content submitted by you. You agree to indemnify Country Meadows against all claims and liabilities resulting from your User Content. You understand and agree that we do not monitor User Content outside our company social media pages, but we reserve the right to review and delete any User Content for any or no reason on our own channels, including User Content that we determine in our sole discretion violates these terms, the respective social media channel’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities or is otherwise inappropriate or offensive, harmful to us, other Country Meadows followers or any third party. You understand and agree that Country Meadows may ban a user from posting on social media pages and applications created or administered by Country Meadows for a pattern of inappropriate postings or as it deems necessary.

For any User Content that you submit, you grant Country Meadows a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, sell and distribute such content and to incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world, all without compensation to you. For this reason, do not post any User Content that you do not wish to license to Country Meadows, including any confidential information or any original creative materials such as stories, product ideas, computer code or original artwork. In addition, you grant Country Meadows the right to include the name provided along with the User Content submitted by you.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Your use of social media pages created or administered by Country Meadows following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms whenever you use our social media pages.
