Living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias can be confusing and isolating. Often, people living with dementia need more care than they can get living at home. Caregivers are left overwhelmed, especially when memory starts to rapidly deteriorate. Country Meadows Allentown Memory Support Services is here to help.
Your loved one deserves
For more than 30 years, we have been serving seniors with memory loss in the Lehigh Valley. Combined with our experience in memory care across all of our campuses, we have developed a memory support program that focuses on personal connections and caring for the whole person.
We’re here for you however you need us and can help answer questions for any senior care-related situation. We’ve chosen this field because we enjoy and respect seniors. And we love what we do. If you have questions other than senior care, please consider these options for your inquiries: career opportunities, volunteering, employment verification, press-advertising-vendor requests or general resident or co-worker questions/comments.
We provide memory care at every stage, from early signs of dementia through late-stage memory loss caused by Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. Our specialty programs are created to enable residents to feel fulfilled and successful while participating. Our team ensures activities are adult-like, emphasize residents’ abilities and reflect the esteem of their accomplishments and experiences. By focusing on the individual, the team is better able to manage behaviors complicated by dementia with specifically designed strategies. Our Allentown memory support services:
Recently, we introduced the innovative Tovertafel (“Tover Table”) to our Allentown, PA campus. The Tovertafel is an interactive game console that projects dynamic images onto a table or floor for participants to “touch.” Learn more about its benefits for memory support residents and their families or contact our team today to schedule a tour of our Allentown neighborhood and a demonstration of this interactive game.We recognize memory loss affects the family as well. We support you, too, with our caregiver network, providing education on the process of memory loss and a listening ear. We’re here to share in the care.
