We had a group of Pre K student guests over for Christmas in July! Our residents surprised them with a Hot Coco Bar, a talking Snowman, the “Grinch” movie on Netflix and an indoor snowball fight (with cotton snowballs!) All left with a Candy Cane and a little early Christmas spirit!
On Jan. 17, 2018, Country Meadows founder, Gov. George Leader, would have celebrated his 100th birthday. In his honor, residents enjoyed a talk by Gov. Leader’s granddaughter, Meredith Mills, and toasted his memory at Happy Hour with whiskey sours with a splash of bourbon. (Gov. Leader loved bourbon and his wife, Mary Jane, loved whiskey sours.) Cheers!
